The monitor gets a new color

After the arcade cabinet is finished the plastic surrounding the screen will be visible, so i have to paint it black. Most of the plastic later will be covered by the bezel, that's why i only paint the front side. First i use light-grit sandpaper to smooth the plastic surface. Afterwards i clean the monitor with a piece of cloth drenched in thinner.

I cover the screen and the back of the monitor with paper and sticky tape. Although everything looked good, the fine spray managed to find a way on the screen, but that's easy to remove with a razor blade.

Two coats of spray paint, and the monitor looks much better!

The only things missing now is the black t-molding.
