Gentoo

The operating system i use for my arcade cabinet is gentoo linux. The advantage of gentoo is that it can be adapted easily for the intended purpose. On the other side, installation is a bit more complicated than with other operating systems.
The installatoin of gentoo alone took me about two hours while ubuntu for example is ready to use in about 20 minutes.
